Entering marks
Teachers enter marks for each paper from Exam Center → Marks → Mark Entries.
Entering marks
- Choose the exam, class, section and subject.
- Each student has a box for every component, such as 1st C.A., 2nd C.A. and Exam. Type their marks.
- Academium adds up each student's total as you type.
- Tick Absent for a student who missed the paper, or Optional for a student who does not take an optional subject. Their mark boxes are switched off.
- Save.
Academium will not accept a mark higher than the component's full mark.
The page shows how many students are still unmarked, so you know when you are finished.
When marks cannot be changed
Marks become read-only when:
- the results for that class have been authorised; or
- the term is locked.
Ask your school admin if you need to correct a mark after that. They can reverse the authorisation, or unlock the term for a while.
Common issues
I cannot see my subject or class. The exam may not be published to staff yet, or the subject is not assigned to that class. Ask your school admin.
A mark is refused. It is higher than the component's full mark. Check the mark, or ask your admin to check the exam's full marks.
Mark Entries is not in my menu. It needs the mark entry permission. It is also hidden during out-of-term periods, such as holiday coaching, which have no exams.
With Academium Surepass
Marks for tests and exams taken on computers in Academium Surepass do not need typing in. Surepass marks them and sends them to this mark sheet. See Sending results to Academium SMS.
