School Accounting → Expenses records money the school spends.

Recorded for you

Salary payments are recorded automatically when payroll is paid, linked to each payslip. See Paying staff.

Recording an expense

Record the date, the account it was paid from, the transaction category, the amount and a reference. Categories are set up under Transaction Categories.

Bank charges

Choose a charge preset if your bank deducts a charge. Academium shows the net amount as you type.

Deleted expenses

Deleted entries are kept under Deleted Transactions, with who removed them and why. See Deleted Transactions.
