Centre tests

Tutorial centres create practice tests for their batches of students. For formal sittings, see Centre exams.

Creating a practice test

  1. Open Tests and click Create Test.
  2. Enter the Test Title, Subject, an optional Description and Instructions.
  3. Set the Duration (minutes) and Pass Score (%).
  4. Set Max Attempts, or leave it blank for unlimited.
  5. Choose the Test Options: Randomize question order, Randomize answer options, Show results immediately and Allow free navigation.
  6. Click Create Test & Add Questions →.

Adding questions

On the edit page, choose questions from Available to add, and click Save Questions. Tick Active (visible to students) when it is ready. Until then it stays a Draft.

Batches, section types and schedules

  • Batches: choose which batches sit it, with the questions, marks and duration for each.
  • Section Types: choose the paper each batch sits. A batch set to Objective only is never given theory questions.
  • Schedules: set when each batch can sit it, as for a school test. See Scheduling a test.
