Signing out of the school on this computer

Signing out of the school removes the school's records from the computer. Do it when the computer is being handed to someone else, leaving the school, or being set up again.

Changes made on this computer that have not reached the school yet are erased for good when you sign out without syncing. There is no way to get them back.

Before you sign out

  1. Connect to the school network or the internet.
  2. Leave Academium open for a few minutes so your changes reach the school.

Signing out

  1. Open the menu in the title bar and choose Log out of school.
  2. If some changes have not reached the school, Academium tells you how many and asks you to confirm. Choose Keep this school if you want to sync them first.
  3. Academium shows Signing out… while it removes the school's records from the computer. Keep the app open; it restarts by itself when it is done.

Common issues

"Could not finish signing out." Close Academium and open it again. It finishes signing out as it starts.

Signing out of your account instead

If you only want to stop using your own account on this computer, and keep the school's records on it for someone else, sign out of your account from your profile menu instead. See Signing in, your PIN and the lock screen.
