Birthdays

Academium keeps track of students' and staff members' birthdays from their records, so nobody is forgotten. Birthdays are under Attendance → Birthdays.

This month's celebrants

Monthly Celebrants shows everyone with a birthday in the month, with tabs for Students and Staff.

Student and staff birthdays

Students and Staff let you look up birthdays between two dates, for example to plan the week ahead:

1. Choose a start date and an end date.
2. Academium lists the celebrants with their photos.

On the dashboard

A birthdays panel on the dashboard shows who is celebrating, for staff whose role includes it.

Good to know

• Birthdays come from the date of birth on each student's and staff member's record. Keep them up to date.
• Seeing student birthdays, staff birthdays and the dashboard panel are separate permissions.

Common issues

Someone is missing. Their record has no date of birth. Add it to their profile.

"The start date is after the end date." Swap the dates.
