Sessions

An academic session is your school year, such as 2026/2027. Open School Settings → Sessions.

Adding a session

1. Click Add Session.
2. Enter the Name, Start Date and End Date.
3. Tick Set as Active Session for the current one.

Auto-generate creates a session with its terms in one go; the session and current term are set as active for you.

A session with terms cannot be deleted.

Schools using Academium SMS

Sessions show Managed by Academium and are updated from SMS every hour. Change them in SMS.
