Importing questions
Add many questions at once from a spreadsheet.
1. Choose what you are importing
In All Questions, click Import, then fill in Question Details:
- Question Section: Objective (multiple choice, true/false, matching…), Theory (short and long answer) or Comprehension (passages with questions).
- Subject, and the Group / Class if needed.
- Exam Type, if the questions are for an exam body.
- Batch Tag (optional): a tag added to every question in this file, such as "First Term CA".
2. Download the template
Click Excel Template (.xlsx). Each section has its own template. Comprehension uses a workbook with two sheets: Passages, and Questions linked to a passage by its ID.
3. Fill it in
The Formatting Guide on the page shows an example for every type. The main rules:

A(True) orB(False). You can also write TRUE or FALSE. - Matching: each option is a pair
Left : Right. Leave the correct answer blank. - Ordering: options in the correct order. Leave the correct answer blank.
- Fill in the Blank:
___for each blank; answers in the options. - Theory: only six columns, with no options.
- Topic (optional) must match an existing topic exactly, or it is ignored.
- Blank rows are skipped.
To include pictures, upload a ZIP containing the spreadsheet and the pictures, with each picture's file name in the Attachment column.
4. Upload
Choose your file and start the import. A progress list shows each row. At the end you see Total Rows, Imported, Failed, and the reason each failed row was skipped. Fix those rows and import them again.
