Taking a practice set

Open a set and click Start Practice (or Resume Practice).

Answering

The screen works like a test: the question panel, Save & Next, Mark for Review and the tools. See Taking a test.

With live feedback on, you see Correct! +XP or Incorrect after each answer, and your XP for the session at the top.

Review Mode

Click Review at the top to switch Review Mode on. After each answer, Surepass stops so you can read whether you were right and the explanation, before moving on.

Tools

Click Tools to turn on the Calculator, Tables, Jotter or accessibility for this session, even if the set did not include them.

Taking a break

Click Take a Break. Your progress is saved and the timer stops. Come back with Resume Practice.

After about 35 minutes, Surepass suggests a short break. Choose Good Idea! or Keep Going.

Finishing

Click Finish Practice and confirm. If you missed any questions, Surepass offers Review Missed Questions so you can go through them before you see your result. This does not change your score.

When the time runs out, the set is submitted for you.

Circle practice

Sets shared with your circle show Circle Activity: who has joined, who is practising, on a break or finished. Circle practices are one attempt only.
