# Groups for your students

**Groups** organise your students, for example "JSS 3" or "Morning Batch". You assign tests, exams and practice to groups.

Open **Groups** and click **Create Group**. Enter a **Group Name** and an optional **Description**.

Open a group to see its students, or click **+ Register Student** to add a new student straight into it. **Edit** renames a group. **Delete** removes it; its students are not deleted, only unassigned.
