# Student sign-in details

Hand students their sign-in details with **Export Credentials** on the Students page.

1. Click **Export Credentials**.
2. Choose what to export:
   - **Local Password**: the password students use to sign in at school.
   - **Off-School PIN**: the 4-digit login code for signing in at home, if your school has home access.
3. Choose a **Class** and **Section / Arm**, or leave both blank for the whole school.
4. Check the **Preview**. Tick students to export only some of them.
5. Download as **Excel (.xlsx)**, best for printing and editing, or **PDF**, best for handing out.

The file contains sign-in details. Keep it safe and do not share it publicly.

Exports show the current password. If a student has changed theirs, set a new one from **Edit** first.
