# Student Goals

Set goals for a whole class or for particular students, and follow how they are getting on. Open **Student Goals**.

## Setting a goal

1. Click **Set a goal**.
2. Choose **A whole class** (and the class) or **Pick students**.
3. Choose what to count and the target, such as practices completed each week. See [My Goals](https://helpcenter.academium.com.ng/academium-surepass/article/sp-my-goals.md) for what goals can count.
4. Tick **Let them adjust the target** if students may change it. A goal they have shaped themselves is one they stick to.

Each student gets their own copy and is asked to accept it.

## Following progress

The page shows **Students with goals**, and how many goals are **Running**, **Awaiting answer** and **Declined**. Each student's goals show their progress. Students who decline can give a reason.

Click **Withdraw** to cancel a goal.
