| Type | Name | How students answer | Marked |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| **MSA** | Multiple Choice (single answer) | Pick one option | Automatically |
| **MMA** | Multiple Choice (multiple answers) | Tick every correct option | Automatically; full marks only when all correct ones are ticked |
| **TOF** | True / False | Pick True or False | Automatically |
| **MTF** | Matching | Match each item on the left to one on the right | Automatically |
| **ORD** | Ordering | Put the items in the right order | Automatically |
| **FIB** | Fill in the Blank | Type the missing word or words | Automatically |
| **SAQ** | Short Answer | Write a short answer | By a teacher |
| **LAQ** | Long Answer | Write an essay | By a teacher |

**Objective** questions are MSA, MMA, TOF, MTF, ORD and FIB. **Theory** questions are SAQ and LAQ.
