# My Students

As an independent teacher, you register your own students. Open **My Students**.

## Registering a student

1. Click **Register Student**.
2. Enter the **Student Name** and choose a **Group** if you like.
3. Choose a **Login Method**:
   - **Pinless**: no PIN; switch into their account directly.
   - **Master PIN**: you use one PIN for all your students. Simpler for large groups.
   - **Student PIN**: each student has their own 4-digit PIN. More private for older students.
4. Save.

Your account allows a set number of students; the dashboard shows how many slots you have used.

## Managing students

The list shows each student's username, group and status. Search, or filter by group.

- **Edit**: change the name, group, status, login method or PIN.
- **Controls**: the student's login method and own-device sign-in.
- **Assign to Group**: move students between groups.
