Bring records across in this order: classes first, then students and staff.

## Classes & Sections

1. Open **Academium Sync** and the **Classes & Sections** wizard.
2. Tick the classes to bring across. Each row shows the section (arm), class level and number of students, and whether it is **New** or **Synced**.
3. Click **Sync Selected**.

**Excluded Classes**: add class names that should never come across, such as an alumni class. Matching classes are hidden from the list.

## Students

1. Open the **Students** wizard.
2. **Select a Class** from the classes you synced, and optionally a section, then **Load Students**.
3. Tick the students and click **Import**.

New student accounts use the password **password123**. Students can change it after signing in.

## Staff, School Owners and School Admins

1. Open the **Staff** wizard. Switch between **Teachers**, **School Owners** and **School Admins**.
2. Tick the people to bring across and click **Import**.

Staff sign in straight away with their **Academium password**.

If two staff in SMS share an email address, Surepass shows **Duplicate Staff Detected**. Groups with one new entry are sorted out for you; otherwise **Choose one**, or **Skip both**.

## Subjects

Open the **Subjects** wizard, tick the subjects and click **Sync Selected**.

## Common problems

**"No synced classes yet".** Import classes before students.

**A class is missing from the list.** It may be in **Excluded Classes**, or not active in SMS for the current session.
