# Goals for your children

Set targets for your children and see how they are getting on. Open **Goals**. You need a child linked first.

1. Find the child and click **Set a goal**.
2. Choose what to count and the target, for example a practice every day. See [My Goals](https://helpcenter.academium.com.ng/academium-surepass/article/sp-my-goals.md) for what goals can count.
3. Your child is asked to accept it.

Each child has a limited number of goal slots; goals work best when there are only a few.

Each goal shows your child's progress. If your child declines, you see their reason. Click **Withdraw** to cancel a goal.
