# Free Practice

Open **Typing Lessons → Free Practice** to type without a lesson.

Choose what to type: **words**, a **quote**, or text with **punctuation** or **numbers**, or type against the **time**. Change the **Font**, **Typing theme** and **Typing effect** from the buttons at the top.

**CAPS LOCK ON** warns you when caps lock is on.

## Your result

After each session you see your **words per minute** compared with last time, **Accuracy**, **Duration**, correct letters, errors and words typed. **New Personal Best!** shows when you beat your record.

- **Error Analysis** shows the keys you mistyped. Practise those next.
- **Class Comparison** shows how you compare with your class.
- **Speed Benchmarks** shows where your speed sits.

Click **Practice Again**, **Retry Lesson** or **All Lessons**.
