# Forgotten password

## Students and staff at a school or centre

Ask your School Owner, Centre Owner or teacher to set a new password for you. They can do it from your record under **Students** or **School Staff**.

## Your own account

1. On the sign-in page, click **Forgot your password?**
2. Enter your email address.
3. Click **Email Password Reset Link**.
4. Open the email and follow the link to choose a new password.

## School and centre owners

Your password is your Academium account password. Reset it from **Forgot your password?** on the server's Portal tab. To change only your password on the school server, use **Reset Admin Password** on the Portal tab.

## Common problems

**I did not get the email.** Check your spam folder. If your email address is not on the account, ask whoever set it up.
