# Your profile and details

Open your **profile** from the menu under your name in the top bar.

## Your details

**Your details** holds your contact details and personal information that you can keep up to date yourself. Change what you need and choose **Save changes**.

Some details, such as your role, department and salary, are managed by your school's administrators on your staff record. If something there is wrong, ask them to correct it.

## Security

**Profile → Security** holds your PIN, security questions, two-factor and backup codes, lock screen wallpaper, trusted devices, password and username. See [Keeping your account secure](https://helpcenter.academium.com.ng/academium-sms/article/sms-account-security.md).

## Common issues

**"Could not save your profile."** Check the highlighted fields and your connection, then try again.
