# School gallery

The **School Gallery** keeps your school's photos together, organised by occasion. It needs a plan that includes it.

## Occasions

Open **School Gallery → Manage Occasions** and add occasions, such as *Inter-house Sports 2026* or *Graduation*.

> **Warning:** Deleting an occasion **also deletes all its pictures**. Academium reminds you before you confirm.

## Uploading pictures

1. Open **School Gallery → Gallery** and choose to upload.
2. Choose several pictures at once, give them a **title**, and choose the **occasion**.
3. Upload.

Pictures can be **JPEG**, **PNG**, **GIF** or **WebP**, up to **5 MB** each. Very large pictures (over 8,000 pixels across) are not accepted. Academium makes pictures smaller to save space, keeping transparent backgrounds.

If some pictures cannot be uploaded, Academium names them, and uploads the rest.

## Viewing and downloading

The gallery shows each picture with its title, occasion and size. **Filter** by occasion, open a picture **full size**, or **download** it with its original name.

## Deleting pictures

You can delete pictures you uploaded. The School Owner can delete any picture.

Deleted pictures go to the **recycle bin** for **30 days**, which shows how many days are left and who deleted each one. **Restore** a picture from there, or delete it for good.

## Who can do what

Viewing, uploading, deleting and managing occasions are separate permissions.
