# Pensions and PFA

The **PFA** pages keep each member of staff's pension details. They are under **Human Resource → PFA**, and staff pension details need a paid plan.

## 1. Pension providers

Open **PFA Providers** and add the pension fund administrators (PFAs) your staff use. Providers are shared by all your branches.

## 2. Staff pension accounts

Open **Staff PFA Accounts**. For each member of staff, record their:

- **provider**;
- **pension account number**;
- **employee contribution rate** (8% by default);
- **employer contribution rate** (10% by default).

The rates can be changed for each person.

To set up many staff at once, use **assign** to give several people the same provider and rates. Staff who do not have a pension account yet are offered in the assign dialog.

You can also record pension details when adding a member of staff, by turning on the **Pension** section of the form. If no providers exist yet, the form tells you to add them first.
