# Inflow

**School Accounting → Inflow** records money coming into the school's accounts that is not already recorded for you.

## Recorded for you

You do not need to record these here. Academium posts them to your accounts automatically:

- school fee payments, including transport and hostel;
- fees paid from family wallets;
- inventory sales.

## Recording money in

Record the **date**, the **account** it went into, the **transaction category**, the **amount** and a **reference**. Categories are set up under [Transaction Categories](https://helpcenter.academium.com.ng/academium-sms/article/sms-transaction-categories.md).

## Bank charges

If your bank deducts a charge, choose the charge preset. It comes off the amount, and Academium shows the **net amount** as you type. Set up presets as a fixed amount or a percentage, with an optional minimum and maximum. The **charges report** shows charges by type and date.
