# Extracurricular activities and houses

The **Extracurricular** module keeps clubs, sports and houses connected to your students. It needs a plan that includes it.

## Categories

Open **Extracurricular → Categories** and add categories such as *Sports*, *Clubs* or *Arts*. Each shows how many activities it has.

## Activities

Open **Activities** and add each activity for the current session:

- **name**, **category** and **coordinator**;
- a **description**;
- the **maximum number of participants**;
- the **meeting day and time**, and the **venue**.

## Participants

Add students to an activity **class by class**, choosing the class and section. Students already in the activity are shown, along with the count against the maximum.

## Activity register

Take an activity's register by **date**: **present**, **absent**, **late** or **excused**. Reopening a date shows the marks already taken.

## Termly performance

Once a term, record each participant's **participation** and **attitude** (excellent, good, fair or poor), an **overall grade**, their **achievements**, **areas for improvement** and **remarks**.

## Houses

1. Open **Houses** and add each house with its **colour**, **motto**, **description** and **house master**.
2. Open **Assign to Houses** to put students into houses for the session, in bulk. Students already assigned are shown selected.
3. Add **house sponsors** for the session: name, type, email, phone and details.

## Reports

**Extracurricular → Reports** shows participation **by activity**, **by student** or **by house**.
