# Exam Schedule

Open **Exam Center → Exam Schedule**. Each class's papers come from the subjects assigned to it. See [Subjects](https://helpcenter.academium.com.ng/academium-sms/article/sms-subjects.md).

## Generating the schedule

1. Choose the class.
2. Enter the **start date and time**, the **length** of each paper, how many **papers per day**, and the **gap** between papers.
3. Generate. Academium fills in the schedule, **skipping weekends and holidays**.

The generated schedule is a draft until you save it.

## Adjusting it

- **Drag** a paper to another day.
- Academium highlights **clashes** and papers placed on **days the school is closed**.
- Choose a hall for each paper. See [Exam Hall](https://helpcenter.academium.com.ng/academium-sms/article/sms-exam-halls.md).

Save when you are happy, and **print** the schedule for students and invigilators.

## Locking

The exam schedule **locks** once that class's marks have been authorised, and unlocks again if the authorisation is reversed.

## Common issues

**A subject is missing from the schedule.** Assign it to the class under **Academics → Subjects**.
