# Catch Up

**Catch Up** checks your school for unfinished work and shows what needs you, with a button that takes you straight to it. What you see depends on what your role can do.

## What it can tell you about

- classes with **no register yet today** (from 11am on a school day);
- **exam work** still to do, such as marks not entered or results not published;
- **payroll** waiting for your approval;
- a term or session that is **not ready**, such as fees not allocated;
- **fee overpayments** and fee collection follow-up;
- **stock** that is out or running low;
- open **accounting** work, such as an unfinished bank reconciliation.

Items disappear by themselves once the work is done. You can also **dismiss** an item you do not need to see again.

## Where it appears

- On the dashboards for **School Admins, Accountants, Receptionists** and other roles.
- On the **School Owner's** dashboard, it is hidden at first so the figures come first. Turn it on in your dashboard settings. See [Arranging your dashboard](https://helpcenter.academium.com.ng/academium-sms/article/sms-arranging-your-dashboard.md).

## Quiet hours

In your [personal preferences](https://helpcenter.academium.com.ng/academium-sms/article/sms-personal-preferences.md), set **quiet hours**. Non-urgent items wait until your chosen hours, while urgent ones still appear. You can also set the stock level that counts as "running low" for you.

## Common issues

**Catch Up shows an item I have already dealt with.** Catch Up refreshes regularly. Give it a little while, or dismiss the item.
